According to the paper: ANTICIPATION AND THE VALUATION OF DELAYED CONSUMPTION*

Loewenstein (1987) argues that people sometimes may choose to defer the consumption of desirable outcomes ( due to savoring) or expedite the consumption of undesirable outcomes (due to dread). This pattern of time preference violates the "positive discounting" principle of DUDiscounted Utility theory and hence according to the DU (Discounted Utility theory) model savoring and dread is an anomaly. What may be a good new hypothesis, result, and conclusion for new research?
