Add vivid adjectives and adverbs

I had not even seen the documents myself pertaining to the case on the day of the pretrial. My lawyer did bring some documents to the jail a month later for me to review. They were all typed documents and nothing was signed or dated on anything, so I really did not understand what I was looking at. I had never seen those typed applications on the Indiana properties and there was no reason that I would have since I was living in New York at the time. Andrew Beam was listed as the loan officer but again there were no signatures or dates anywhere on the documents that I saw that day. It was the same on the New York properties that Nana purchased. I had never seen those applications either since they were mailed directly to her house and she communicated directly with the loan officer. Some of the applications on the New York case were clearly forged by someone.

Truitt visited me several times before the trial, and each visit only intensified my frustration. His glaring incompetence gnawed at my nerves, as I feared he would jeopardize my case rather than bolster it. I found myself yearning for solitude in my cell, preferring the quiet over his unsettling presence. Our interactions became so unbearable that I eventually asked him to stop coming altogether. The stress he added to my already precarious situation was indescribable, and once again, dark, suicidal thoughts began to creep into my mind. I had always been the slender, bookish, and studious type that just relied on books and now my so-called advocate was clearly out of his depth. We were worlds apart, unable to connect on any level. I was not a hardened criminal, and I felt like a misfit in the harsh environment of the jail. Ultimately, I chose to wait alone in my cell, as even the other inmates remarked that I seemed out of place there.
