Advertising promotes a sense of dissatisfaction with our lives as they are. Social media platforms, like Facebook, make us less sociable. It is wrong for the affluent world to invest millions in lengthening the lives of a few while millions starve. Multiculturalism exists only in urban Canada. Spending scarce educational dollars on such things as the arts and physical education is not feasible in today's world.
