After carefully reading the case study: Amazon.com's European Distribution Strategy, which is located under the case supplement part of the text, and performing a thorough review of relevant literature, you will be assuming the persona of an external supply chain consultant hired by Mr. Tom Taylor, Director of Amazon.com's Supply Chain Operations, to propose a strategy for configuring the distribution network so that it properly supports the projected growth rate in Europe. Mr. Taylor has asked that you prepare a presentation to be delivered to him and other members of the European leadership team. In preparation for the presentation, you will be preparing "draft" set of PowerPoint slides, which will be provided to a select group of your peers for review and critique.
