Although I feel I did well in each course, I definitely do not think I retained all of the information I was given. Looking at the exam content has me worried I wouldn't even begin to pass. The first area that I know I do not remember a lot of would-be Domain 2 item numbers 3 (understand DRG methodology) and 4 (understand APC methodology). The next area I believe I would struggle in would be under Domain 1, item 13 (Use of appropriate modifiers). I struggled with modifiers during the course I learned them and honestly could not grasp them fully. Another area might be in Domain 3, item numbers 2 and 3 (analyze medical records). I believe this would be comparable to when we code case studies and those have been a struggle for me as well. Understanding the code books and narrowing down to a code was not too hard but when I have to figure out between more than one option for something in a medical record, I seem to pick the wrong ones.
