An animal behavior neuroscientist wants to determine if injection of large amount of cortisol into bloodstream would interfere with normal spatial learning (hippocampal function impairment). A sample of 14 albino rats were recruited for the study, 7 females and 7 males. At first, they underwent T-maze trials without injection, and then with the injection.
