To make it through harvest time, each acre of wheat she plants will require 1 person-day of labor and expenses of $20. Each acre of corn she plants will require 5 person-days of labor and expenses of $30. The farmer has $11,400 and 1480 person-days of labor available, and she expects to make a profit of $90 per acre of wheat and $120 per acre of corn. Problem 2. Sebong Corp. wants to maximize their profit by selling two models of karaoke machine. The profit realized is $300 from each model A and $250 from each model B. However, there are certain limitations that prevent them from producing and selling thousands of sets daily. These limitations are: a) Each unit of model A requires two hours of labor, whereas each set of model B requires only one hour (limited to 40 hours of labor per day) b) Machine processing time for 1unit of model A is 1 hour, and for 1 unit of model B, three hours (limited to 45 hours of machine time per day) c) Inability to sell more than 12 sets of model A each day
