The Person is the Leader. He is someone with a vision. The vision is the purpose that needs to be achieved. Remember that the Person (Leader) cannot do it alone. He needs the help of the People (subordinates). The leader has the responsibility of influencing or motivating the people (subordinates) in order to achieve the "COMMON GOAL" or Purpose. It is so called "Common Goal" because what the leader wants to achieve should be clear and known to the People. There should be common understanding of the Purpose.
