You should be familiar with calls, puts, bids, asks, strike prices, in/out of the money, etc. 1. Use the option chain for next month. Choose one call option and one put option for which there is moderate "volume." Write down the following details for each option: the option type, strike price, current price (i.e. premium), and expiration 2. Use an option chain 4-5 months into the future. Choose one call option and one put for option for which there is moderate "volume." Try to choose options with the same (or similar) strike prices to the ones you used in #1.
