ART CLUB Constitution and Bylaws Mission Our mission is to allow students to develop their creative abilities via the medium of art. Through Weekly discussions on our interest in the art World, We'll be able to explore a variety of media through hands-on projects. The Art Club will expand creative and artistic possibilities. Members of the Club will engage in individual, University, and community-based art projects, building condence and fostering a feeling of school and community pride in each student. Students will develop leadership, collaboration, social skills, self-esteem, and critical thinking abilities, which will benet them both in the art club and their post-secondary studies. I. The name of the club is A_rtntld H. Purpose ofthe (\"tub 1. Increase awareness of the various mediums and techniques that the world of visual arts offers. 2. It provides a positive forum where students can be creative, innovative, and collaborative with developing and creating their artwork. 3. Provide a collaborative environment between artists in the community and other students to foster peer-to-peer learning and engagement. 4. Enhance student knowledge by providing Workshops. HI. Membership 1. Membership is open to any currently enrolled at Schreiner University 2. Any discipline problems in the classroom environment will have a student removed from the Club IV. Art Club Oi'cers Ofcers' Responsibilities: The Prestem' l. The president will serve as the Club's chief executive ofcer. 2. The president appoints all committee chairpersons. 3. The president oversees the plans, possible budgets, and events with the permission of the Executive Committee. The Vice President 1. The organization's parliamentarian shall be the vice president. 2. Should the presidents ofce become empty. or if the president is absent, the vice president will take their responsibilities. 3. The vice president shall retain and make copies of the constitution and bylaws accessible. The Secretary's Responsibilities: 1. The secretary is in charge of taking notes of all meetings. 2. The secretary will provide each officer with a copy of the minutes and preserve a master le. 3.
