- Develop performance plans with key performance indicators (KPIs) for each of your team; this must include suitable individual or team goals and work outputs. You must liaise and work with your team, any other relevant stakeholder, and with management to produce and confirm performance plans and to check these are in line with organisational requirements.

- Following on from question four, work with your team to support the achievement of their performance outcomes; the period of time for providing this must be arranged and decide with the assessor, for example, one month). This may include providing encouragement to take responsibility, giving feedback, helping with decision-making, discussing issues and concerns, and boosting team morale.
You must also provide both formal and informal learning opportunities on at least one occasion. For example, a formal learning opportunity may be the identification and arrangement of a training course, and an informal learning opportunity may be providing relevant workplace instruction.
You must record your work as a summary report to document team progress and submit this to the assessor.
- After a short period of implementation (as decided by the assessor), assess the team's performance. This should include participating in communications with team members and management, and relaying relevant information between all parties to determine performance.
You should evaluate if there are work or team issues. If these are found, determine corrective action that could be taken to resolve this.
