As soon as you think you have grasped ABC and how it compares to traditional costing approaches.use the organization you work for (or one you have worked for in the past) and muse on whether you think they use, or maybe COULD use, ABC to determine unit costs or cost of service and why. If it was definitely traditional costing (and many of yours were last week) and that was the best approach at the time, make sure you say whether you think ABC would be better. Many service-oriented companies also use ABC. I know, this discussion question will generate fewer responses from your classmates and thats OK! But it might take a little longer to think about ideas for your post even though they might be a little shorter than last week, and dont forget you have that pesky case study to deal with and its not a push-over like Week #1s case study!
