ASSESSMENT DESCRIPTION: This assessment is an individual Project. An airline company has a headquarter at Sydney NSW. The airline operates flights within Australia only. The company owns a fleet of 15 airplanes. There are five types of airplanes that range in size from 10 seats to 90 seats (10, 30, 50, 70 and 90 seats). Information about each plane such as airplane number, type, capacity, and manufacturing company are kept. Flights are scheduled to destinations on daily basis. Every flight has a unique number, and the day on which flight is scheduled. Every flight can have one or many flight legs. Each leg has a departure airport and departure time and arrival airport and arrival time. The information about airports such as airport code, airport name, city and state are also kept in the system. A customer can book many flights and legs. A customer information such as his/her name, title, date of birth, identification document number, and address is kept as an information. Customer reservations contains the customer information and leg information. Each reservation generates a ticket with necessary information on it along with the status of the ticket.

Tasks to be completed:

1. a) Create a complete ERD with entities and relationships.

2. b) Convert the ERD to a set of relational tables in at least 3NF and draw a

   dependency diagram

3. c) Create a database using MICROSOFT ACCESS- with primary keys, foreign

   keys, and other attributes mentioned for each entity using proper

   constraints.

4. d) Create a form to input/update data

5. e) Input some significant data in each table showing your understanding of

   the scenario.

6. f) Create three queries. There should be one SLELECT, one JOIN and one

   AGGREGATE function query. You can use table and fields for the query as

   per your choice.

7. g) Create a report.
