An underperforming staff member is one who fails to perform their role satisfactorily for the implementation of the business plan. Y ou will be assessed on your practical skills to: ' Identify at least two staff members responsible for unfavourable variances in the B usiness Review R eport prepared in Workplace Project Task 6. Unfavourable variance refers to when the actual performance data is worse than the targetin the business plan. ' Conduct a group coaching session on business performance with the underperforming staff, so as to collaborate to achieve better business performance for the organisa on. Coaching can include informal on-the-job and off-the-job advice and training to an employee to help improve performance levels. ' Work jointly with staff to realise shared results by enabling effective group interaction, influencing direction and taking a leadership role. ' Offer support to staff in area of expertise. as required. ReviewWorkptace Project Task 7 - Observation Form before startingthis task.
