This assessment contains three parts as Part A (Prepare and write a report), Part B (Role-play) and Part C (Practical activity). This task is a continuation of personal and professional development of self and others from assessment task 2 where you undertake to develop and maintain professional competence of self and other two team members and document the activities by writing a report, communicating with team members, and demonstrating the use of software technology to manage and prioritise work tasks.
Your Task
Complete the following workplace activities demonstrating skills and knowledge to implement systems and process that support the personal and professional development of self and others:
A - a report
Using the information gathers for assessment task 2 - case study and write a report for development and maintenance of professional competence of self and other two team members.
Title the report as 'Development and maintenance of professional competence.'
Structure the report as follows:
Introduction (About the report, purpose of the report and scope of the report)
Body - Address and document the following elements in the body of your report:
- Your role and responsibilities and other two team members' roles and responsibilities.
- Organisational framework for development of work goals.

Note: As you complete the report, you must meet the relevant personnel (Assessor) to discuss additional development needs in a role-play meeting as described on the following page.
B - Role-play (Seek feedback from relevant personnel on own development needs)
Instructions
This part is a role-play where you must organise role-play settings as agreed and facilitated by your assessor for a consultation meeting including training room place, tables, chairs, a computer with Internet, papers, pens, and any other resources as required.

- Meet with John Smith, the Managing Director (your assessor) in a role-play meeting and discuss the followingand note down the discussion points using the consultation documentation template provided in appendix 2.

- Seek feedback from the managing director (relevant personnel - assessor) on own development needs and note down.
- Use active listening and questioning to seek and receive feedback.
C - Practical activity

- Develop a list of work tasks based on work goals and plans for you and your team members Mary and Josh.
- Using the computer and software technology such as MS Outlook or any other as agreed and facilitated by your assessor, demonstrate how to manage, and prioritise work tasks.
