This Assignment has 3 parts. You need to put all 3 parts together into 1 document. It can be a Word document or a pdf. You will upload the file to your assign2 folder on the server. Your document can be in outline form, but you need to use concrete details to support your opinions. Discussion postings are essential for this assignment. You will need to post questions and comments in the Assignment 2 Discussion and read all the Discussion postings.

Background Information

Tai Chi Solution needs a web site. They have a small studio in Indianapolis where they offer Tai Chi classes for Health. They also will provide 6 week courses off site to community centers and organizations. They are certified to teach the following courses

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention

Tai Chi for Kids

Tai Chi for Work

Tai Chi for Beginners

Tai Chi for Energy

Tai Chi for Memory

Tai Chi for Heart Conditions

They are part of the a larger international organization https://taichiforhealthinstitute.org/ They can use their logos and images, but would like to have their own logo in the future. They dont know much about web design, but would like to have the following sections in their web site contact, about, classes, and an area class requests. They are open to suggestions.

Part I

From postings in the discussion you will need to develop a purpose statement, objectives, the competitor sites (3 good ones), the advantage of the site over the competitors, the target audience of the web site and demographics of the users. You will receive additional information about the clients needs through the Assignment 2 Discussion. Details about Part I will be discussed in class or presented in the Assignment 2 presentation.

Part II

Based on Discussion posts in the Assignment 2 forum, you will develop a diagram or site map for the site. You will find information about this in Chapter 3 and from the online presentation. Your diagram should be similar to 3.3, but you should have more detail. Remember to think about chunking. You dont want your diagram to be too deep or too shallow. The discussion for will have an area for diagram questions. Diagram will be covered in class and in the Assignment 2 presentation. The diagram is a visual picture of the concrete items in the objectives.

Part III

You will need to create 2 different wireframes (visual layouts) of the home page for the class web site project. You should have the logo/site title, navigation and text area that will serve as the master page for the whole site. Make

sure to look at Chapter 3 pages 94-95 and the presentation and discussion postings for this section. The name of the site and the actual navigation links need to appear on your wireframe.

Upload your assignment to the Wasp Server in your assign2 folder. Create a link on your assignment sheet to your word. pdf or html document. Also upload your file when you submit your assignment in canvas.
