Hand drawn charts are not acceptable. a. Each box representing a position must be labeled b. Color-code the different levels of management/technical personnel c. Levels of the various positions must be even/on the same line d. Lines connecting positions must clearly identify chain of command - must be straight, vertical, or horizontal (no diagonal or curved lines) e. Chart must also include: organization name, department, title, & effective date 3. The finished work should be neat and professional, one- page, boxes & text should be consistent size.
