Conditional probabilityis a measure of the probability of an event E (a situation occurring) given that another event F has occurred.What this does is to reduce the sample space (total possible outcomes) to the outcomes of F.Therefore, the probability will be the outcomes of event E present in the outcomes of event F divided by the reduce sample space (the outcomes of Event F).The following figure captures the understanding of conditional probability.
