Assignment #6 - C13 Liability

Molly lives in Quebec City. She purchases a clothes dryer from Dryer Mart. The dryer malfunctions when she is using it, causing her clothes to catch fire. The fire spreads throughout Molly's basement, damaging her home. Furious, Molly returns the dryer to Dryer Mart, where she is given a refund, but Dryer Mart will not cover her damages. Molly contacts the manufacturer, Dry Right, but it refuses to compensate Molly for her damages. Determined, Molly creates a Facebook page and finds more than 90 people with similar experiences with the same dryer model. As a result, Molly brings a class action against Dry Right for compensation for damages.
