Assume that you are going to run the e-mail campaign for your Shopify store (even if the store has not been published yet), for your website or blog, or for any other hypothetical business. Here are the steps that you need to take to complete this assignment:

Decide what the main purpose and hypothetical target audience will be for your e-mail campaign (e.g. promoting a certain product on your Shopify store to men interested in exercise, promoting and launching a new consulting website to , or selling a haircut service to , etc.)

Open a FREE account with Mailchimp (or with any other similar and free e-mail tool), and create your first e-newsletter (e-mail). Choose a template for your first newsletter, add several intended recipients (most importantly, add yourself as a recipient), add subject line, add text and images, finalize everything, and send the e-mail to yourself!

Copy / screenshot the e-mail that you have received and send to me as a proof that you have done this assignment. Also, send me a short description of your main purpose of the campaign and about your target audience. Make sure to mention your course number and section number in your submission (e.g. BUSI 645-01)

For your information, I will mark this based on various key elements of the e-mail marketing, such as the subject line, text and call to action, visuals, etc all relative to the stated purpose of the e-mail, and the target audience.
