At this point of the project, you have identified the problem and a technology solution for the business. Now, you want the business to accept the idea. Using your text, the previous stages completed with feedback provided, and the business plan template (see Doc Sharing), write a business plan to give your customer that details the risks, assumptions, impact, and so on of the proposed implementation of the HRIS. This stage of the project should be a professional document that you would present to a customer leadership team to accept your business plan. See the Business Plan Template in Doc Sharing for details of each section required. Do not copy and paste Stage I and Stage II information into this Final Course Project. Stages I and II are considered raw data. You are now finalizing and summarizing. You are applying critical thinking skills to the data you?ve collected.
1 This is your business plan template. There should be no copy/pasted information in this final project. However, all theory must be cited according to APA standards. All items in blue need to be completed. There are instructions for each section. Be sure to change the font color to black before submitting. Insure that you proofread for clarity and proper writing skills. This document should be professional in appearance as well as content. Remove all blue/red instructions before submitting assignment or points may be impacted. Castle's Family Restaurant Business Plan: Stage III Student Name DeVry University 2 Table of Contents Item Page # Table of Contents 2 Executive Summary 3 This section should be written last. It provides the reader with an overview of your business plan. This section includes a brief description of the business, the goal of your business plan, your customer's market/clientele, their current \"like\" competition, and current business operations, and potential fiscal plan (fiscal plan may be assumed based on current manual process compared to pricing of automation). Introduction/Conclusion Introduction provides sufficient background on the topic and previews major points. Conclusion is logical, flows from the body of the paper, and reviews the major points. Company Review This section should summarize the information from your Stage I paper. Provide a basic industry outline. Is it a growth industry? What changes do you foresee in this industry, and how is this company poised to take advantage of them? Take the information from your Stage I paper and analyze the data. What is your analysis of their current business? This will require some additional outside research. Cite your sources. Business Analysis This is where you will provide an expanded review of your Stage II project where you will summarize that information and provide your analysis of this customer's business. This section needs to be thorough and accurate so your customer understands the issues you've found. You must validate and substantiate the issues identified and why they are creating inefficiency and cost to the business. Why is automation viable? Why did you choose this specific HR function? This is where the current fiscal information should be placed. This may be completed based on theory. It should line up with your next sections of this business plan. HRIS Type/Comparison This is also information you would pull from your Stage II paper and research. You want to share the type of HRIS system you have reviewed and why. You need to expand on this comparison and include theory to substantiate. This is where you're providing a clear review of different vendors. You want to make it understandable to your customer. HRIS Recommendation Pull together all of your research here. Share the vendor recommendation. You must validate and substantiate this recommendation. Just stating this is what \"you think\" would be the best vendor is not enough. You must show this customer that this \"is\" the best recommendation and why. Theory substantiates; what have other 3 like companies used? This is where you include business risks, fiscal impact, impact on employees and customers, etc. Remember, you don't want to \"over sell\" an HRIS system. Make recommendations that fit the needs of your analysis. 4 Executive Summary This should be approximately 1 page, double spaced. Make it enthusiastic, professional, complete, and concise. 5 Introduction This should be 1 paragraph, double spaced. This is an introduction to this document. 6 Company Review This section should be 1-2 pages, double spaced. 7 Business Analysis This should be 2-3 pages, double spaced. 8 HRIS Type/Comparison This section should be 2-3 pages, double spaced. 9 HRIS Vendor Recommendation This section should be 2-3 pages, double spaced. 10 Conclusion This should be at least 1 paragraph, double spaced. HRIS Systems DeVry University Cristal Ordonez INTRODUCTION To meet the requirement of Castle's family restaurant and Mr. Morgan, there are different HRIS systems in the market. Not all HRIS systems can meet every requirement, but the work process can be handled easily from head office. The suggested HR application and tools will help organizations to organize their human capital, improve the efficiency of the workforce and information gathering. HRIS TYPE For Mr. Jay Morgan I would suggest the HRIS system which equips him to handle policies and procedures from his head office. Mr Morgan travel to all offices for scheduling, recruiting, hiring, taking reviews and reporting purposes, which can be solved by implementing HRIS systems in the organization. The perfect HRIS for this purpose is Tactical HRIS. Along with reporting the system will help in: Recruitment and hiring. Organizing training programs. Compensation management. Organize workflow. Providing platform for employees and managers for self service. Absence Management. The Tactical HRIS system will help Mr. Morgan in resource allocation, i.e. recruitment, job analysis and decision making. The important attribute of this system: Recruiting information system helps in developing a recruiting plan for the organization which covers the information of list of permanent employees, contract employees, termination, transfer, unfilled positions and responsibility of the position. With all the information collected with the plan, Mr Morgan can easily organize recruitment drive. The platform for employees and branch managers will help in answering questions of every employee instead of visiting every branch; Mr. Morgan can answer every individual's query with privacy and can take feedback from managers. Though Mr. Morgan can handle the payroll from his worksheet and computer application working from his head office, if he wants whole new setup to maintain payroll, then I would suggest going for HRMS system which can perform all the function of HRIS and additional functionality of Payroll. HRIS VENDOR CHOICE Below is HRIS application from two different vendors: Acquire TM - http://acquiretm.com/ It's perfect for small and medium scale business operation. The web based deployment helps in using it from different locations. The single platform gives the features of applicant tracking, employee on boarding and background screening. The set up is really small and easy to install and configure. The product contains all basic features of recruitment, automated job approval routing, referral tracking, etc. Third party's payroll can be integrated with Acquire's HRIS application. Price: Price is approx $90 per month Ascentis HRIS - http://www.ascentis.com/ It provides centralized management to HR with comes with a packet, as an HR office suite, with different module meeting every requirement. Ascentis Recruiting provides prescreening tools, manage requisitions data online. The tool is well compact with all the tasks, HR needs to perform like collection of employment form, after hiring data is shared across Ascentic platform. Self service provides a paperless platform for online enrolment and help employees with maintaining federal compliance while providing electronic plan documentation accessible anytime. Different modules in suite like Ascentis HR, Ascentis Payroll, Ascentis Timekeeper, Ascentis Talent Management, Ascentis Self Service, etc. meets every requirement and is more than enough for Mr. Morgan for the long term requirement. Pricing is available on request. CONCLUSION The requirement of restaurant chain and Mr. Morgan is very small and clear which can be fulfilled by several HRIS applications available in the market. The two HRIS suggested are well established in the market and meet the entire requirement. I would suggest going for Acquire TM HRIS, as the additional features will be beneficial for the long term and the existing payroll service can be continued because of integration facility.
