Back in what is known as the "before times" I would have students play Human Resource Machine together in groups as an icebreaker activity, both socially and pedagogically speaking I truly believe this game is a very good educational tool, and surprisingly approximates the assembly language topics we will cover in this course I very much would like for you to find a way to play this game, and complete as many levels as you can

This goes for this week and throughout the semester and beyond

If that is not a feasible option due to the game's rigid pricing structures, I completely understand Please refer to the videos if you would like tutorials on how to play the first few levels of the game

Make sure you understand how to complete the levels called "Octoplier Suite" and "Tetracontiplier"

One level shows you how to multiply a value by $8$ without using multiplication or repeated addition

The other level shows you how to multiply a value by $40$ without using multiplication or repeated addition

Using the same methodology, figure out an algorithm for multiplying a value by $24$ without using multiplication or repeated addition

Show evidence of the correctness of your algorithm in one of the following forms

Simple flowchart

Pseudocode

Programming language function in the language of your choice
