Discrimination is a gesture when the person in authority of an organization or a group makes distinctions which are unjustified to a given party. The discrimination mainly occurs based on races, disability, religion, genders, or sexual view of someone. These factors among others makes the person in charge treat someone else in a weak manner than the rest of the group who do not bear the same factors within the group. In a similar way, harassment happens to an individual when a certain word or some physical acts that are intended to hurt them are said or done to them. Some of the facts about discrimination is that many people in our current world do not approve the act and one can be sued for mistreating someone. Discrimination occurs in many areas of our living like places of work, at schools or even within the local society. There are ground rules and rights that fight against the act of discrimination in the society. When one treats the other persons poorly due to either some disabilities, or not meeting their requirements they can be sued for the act and charged in the court. The overall effect of the act is denial of deserved opportunities, affecting of well- being of a person and even cause stigma and lowering self-esteem. The other act of harassment which often occasions occur in the places of work and in the society is against the law. The act affects the victim through anxiety, trauma and increased depression. Just like in discrimination many cases of harassment happen because of racial, religion, color or even disability differences. The victims can also sue the offenders since the law and society is against the acts. Most harassments occur between people with a mutual connection which end up in one party being badly treated. To treat and avoid the discrimination and harassments within the society there are measures that can be taken. People should be taught and advised on the need of equity when treating one another, be informed of the need to raise an immediate awareness for any kind of harassment of acts of discriminations in their places of work, schooling or within the society to the authorities. There should be a clear procedure for the reporting process to ensure a faster consideration before affecting individual well-being. By doing those things discrimination and harassment can be minimized or eliminated.

As of today, there are many ethical issues of discrimination and harassment that a person or employee can experienced through his/ her workplace or in any place where certain people act. Discrimination and Harassment impacts the world into a great level of not only a toxic environment but also an unsafe place for any human beings of how un-human can it be through different situations. Obviously, it does not give advantages or positive impacts or whatsoever as it results in a catastrophic outcome for the people and the business side of it. This topic includes the age of the person because apparently there is a hierarchy that leads to discrimination. It can be like a senior manager that knows a lot so he can treat the junior manager abusively or very poorly. It's this kind of thinking and doing that can lead to these ethical issues. Disability or also known as PWD is also included as accommodation and treatment can be visible when it is different. Next is the sex and gender of a person like giving the men more credit because of the thinking of they are more superior than women. There are also other genders like the LGBT that are highly mistreated because some people they are weird and not accepted to the community. This also comes the religion whether you're a Christian, Muslim, Buddhism, Taoism etc. Next is race which is the most known cause of discrimination and harassment because despite of being different to each other some race thinks that they are superior to the other one. Just like where white people think black people should be treated differently because of their skin color that can lead to Racism. Another one is the Financial Status of a person, as being rich and poor is highly seen in any place. Rich people can...anything they want and get away with anything they do but the poor people get treated like animals and often get harassed because on their stands in life.

Ethical issues of discrimination and harassment is not new to the workplace and business industry. It's been with us since individuals began to work with other people. There are countless of employees or workers had gone through these unfortunate events where discrimination can be seen in the workplace of how a person treats an individual different and poorly against others. Harassment can also largely see in the area where the employee's safety and welfare can be at risk because of that because harassment can not only be verbal but can also lead to violence and other unjustifiable acts. With these ethical problems that is being experienced by a lot of people, it causes so many negative impacts like being not motivated for work, unproductive, poor performance, failures etc. It also led the government or the legal people to have policies, law, and regulation to prevent and have punishable actions for the individuals who encourage this act. There had been many laws that had been stated for the protection of the employees. Discrimination reports and harassment reports can be done and consult a legal person to direct her/ his legal actions.

Discrimination is a gesture when an organization or group leadership creates differences that are unreasonable to a certain party. Discrimination happens primarily based on a person's color, handicap, religion, sex, or sexual view. Most harassment takes place among individuals with a reciprocal relationship who end up being treated poorly by one side. Measures may be made to address and prevent prejudice and harassment within society.
