For this investigation, you'll study and think about the Developmental Indicators.

After carefully reading the developmental indicators for each of the major areas and goals, answer these questions:

1. What progression of changes or growth did you see in one of the goals for "Developing a Sense of Self?" (Identify the goal and discuss what you see.)
2. Under one of the three goals for "Developing a Sense of Self with Others," what specific indicator or indicators surprised you? Why? (Cite the indicator and goal and tell what surprised you).
3. Under "Learning About Feelings," what connections did you notice between Goal ESD-6 (Children identify, manage, and express their feelings). and Goal ESD-7( Children recognize and respond to the needs and feelings of others.). Discuss TWO connections and cite the indicators.
