Scenario: Your name is Dana Gagn and you own a company that sells poster reproductions of Italian Renaissance paintings. With sales declining because of competition from the Internet, you hire a fresh marketing graduate from MacEwan University: Cynthia Ehtick. You ask her to develop a marketing plan, complete with budget.

The first week, she sends you a mind map of her thoughts so far. It is an octopus-like brainstorming diagram and you dont even read it. You send her a message to say the draft looks very interesting and you look forward to the final document. Then on a Friday afternoon at 4:15 she send you this memo by e-mail.

Sorry, I forgot about the budget thing. But were still under $100K even with national radio coverage, and I think I can bring that down if we agree to intercut some subliminal messages from the feds about their make-work programs. JK!
