Business for sale scenario: For some time you have been dreaming about starting your own business and it looks like NOW is the time! A local business is up for sale. The business is in a good location and seems to have an established clientele. The owner's states the business' financial statements will show that the business has been successful, however the past year's financial statements are not available for you to look through and analyze the data. You want to present your best offer to purchase the business from the current owner, however you are worried about all the unknowns and whether someone else will purchase the business before you. **This is the scenario students MUST respond to for this assignment.**

Brainstorm as many questions as you can think of to help you decide whether this is the business opportunity for you.

Prepare/type a list of your top eight (8) questions ALONG with the reasons WHY each question will help you to make the best decision possible in purchasing this business.

DIRECTIONS: On the document, list each of your eight (8) questions. After each individual question, state the many reasons WHY this information is important. The questions and the WHY should be well thought out and explain fully your reasoning by selecting this question as one of your eight questions. Answering the WHY with other questions is NOT a sufficient response, unless you answer all of the other questions presented.
