C++ Programming:
Create an application that sums numbers. The program will accept two command-line arguments: a text file and a number.
./a.out sum.txt 2
the file will have one row.
5 13 24 5 23 2 (example)
The first number represents how many numbers are to be summed.
the second argument is how many threads to create. once you have read the file into a data structure ( an array for example ) each thread will sum the portion of the structure it is responsible for.
In this example, one thread would sum 13 24 and the other would sum 5 23 2. If more threads than numbers then only create thread equals to the first number in the file.
Threads sum their portion of the structure internal to the thread.
Once the treads have summed their portion the main process will sum the results from the threads and display the result.
