California's Minimum Wage Law went into effect in early April of this year $(2024).$ I will not skew your opinion on this matter by purposely NOT elaborating on it$.$ I want you to focus on the effects it is having on both the restaurant industry and the California economy in general. This will entail a little research, but it is worth the effort. Please state your opinion on the implementation of this law, and state what you feel will be the long$-$term effects moving forward.
