She had to walk through the shipping department at least twice a day and it became unbearable. 2. Is Defendant liable for the harassment? Why or why not? Yes, the defendant, Tetris Computer, is liable for harassment. As company sexual harassment policy stated, Ms. Adams could repo9rt to her supervisor or HR. Also the company has a zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment. Mr. Johnson, HR at Tetris Computer, stated that prompt remedial action was policy and that he investigated and found the allegations were true and severe enough that the coworker was fired and the shipping department given consequences. Ms. Adams had to endure at least three weeks of sexual harassment having reported it to her supervisor three times.
