On the opposite side the slides are separated by 0.5 m glass particles. Both slides are fully wetting. You generate humidity of 95% around the plates by using your own breath at 25 oC. Will water condense in the gap between the slides? If yes, up to which distance from the contacting edges? The humidity in the room is actually quite low, 45%, and the temperature is only 20oC. Water condensed between the slides evaporates to match these outside conditions. What will be the final radius of the condensed water between the plates. Molar volume of water is 1810-6 m3; disregard the edge effects.
