Mr. A offered to construct the house of Mr. B for a very reasonable price of P1,500,000.00, giving the latter 10 days within which to accept or reject the offer. On the fifth day, before Mr. B could make up his mind, Mr. A withdrew his offer.

a) What is the effect of the withdrawal of Mr. A's offer?

b) Will your answer be the same if Mr. A paid Mr. B P100.00?
