The facts of this case are as follows:
Willirud was on their way to a water park one summer when unfortunately their car wouldn't start. Willirud pushed the car across the street to a mechanic shop. In their trunk Willirud had a case with some estate jewelry that they got after the passing of their mother. Willirud left instructions with the mechanic not to open the trunk as there are valuable items in there. The jewelry was worth $20,000(Willirud had it appraised). Unfortunately when Willirud picked up the car the case and the jewelry in it were missing. Willirud demanded that Jade's Auto reimburse them for the jewelry (i.e. they demanded $20,000) but Jade's Auto said it wasn't responsible. Willirud wants to sue Jade's Auto.
