Case Project 4-2: Analysis of Physical Security How secure are the host computers at your school or workplace? Perform an analysis of the physical security to protect these devices. Make note of any hardware locks, proximity readers, video surveillance, fencing, etc. Then look at the hardware security around the hosts themselves. What are the strengths? What are the weaknesses? What recommendations would you make for improving host security? Write a one-page paper on your analysis. Complete Case Project 4-2 found at the end of the chapter entitled Analysis of Physical Security. When thinking about the scenario, also think about the internal and external environment and the monitoring that should take place to ensure security. Address monitoring along with the questions asked in the Case Project. Make sure to use appropriate citations and references.
