Certain parts are placed inside a bag and then sealed with a heat-sealing machine. The seal must be strong enough so that the product will not be lost in transit, yet not so strong that the consumer cannot open the bag. An experiment was conducted to improve the strength of the sealing considering the two important factors namely hot bar temperature (HotBarT) and dwell time (DwelTime).
