Chapter 6 of our text describes various motivational theories. Another way that motivational theories are characterized is "Content" and "Process" Theories. Content Theories include: Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and Herzberg's Two Factor Theory of Motivation. Process Theories include: Expectancy Theory, Goal Setting Theory, and Equity Theory. For this assignment, select one theory of motivation from each type of theory and explain how each would be applicable to your organization (or a past organization), including any specific HR functions that would be impacted.
