Choose a manufacturing organization and a service organization to analyze. You are encouraged to choose an organization similar in scope or products/services offered to the one chosen for the Strategic Business Plan project that you have been working on in other courses, but this is not a requirement. You may also choose the company for which you are working as one of the organizations to analyze. Keep in mind you will need access to the financial statements of each company, so it may be better to choose a company that is publicly traded. Search the Internet to make sure accounting documents (balance sheet, income statement, etc.) are available before deciding upon the organizations.

Create a Word document in APA format (you may use the APA template in the Student Toolkit) to begin this analysis. Include the following information for Part 1 of the project:

• Identify the name of the manufacturing organization and give a brief overview of the company, including the mission statement and the product(s) offered.
• Identify the service organization and give a brief overview of the company, including the mission statement and the service(s) offered.
• Obtain financial statements for each organization
