Chris is a 22yo African American Male who just recently graduated with is masters degree in environmental studies. Chris has been applying for jobs all over the state in order to find work in the field where of environmental protection and pollution management. Chris spends most of his day at home, living with his parents to save money, constantly refreshing indeed searching for jobs he has not applied to yet. Chris has some hobbies but mostly is on his phone, waiting for an email or a call about a job interview. In college, he rarely socialized with his peers, often turning down their attempts to engage him in after class activities. Chris experiences racing thoughts when people invite him to hang out, and recently has become very overwhelmed with the thoughts about not getting a job in his field. Chris worries about money and how he is going to pay off his student loans, as well as wondering if he made a mistake going to get his masters degree entirely. Chris notices when he has these thoughts that his heartrate quickens and is only really able to calm down if he distracts himself by watching videos on his phone.
