You will be presented with 68 pairs of questions to which you will be asked to select one of the questions that best fits you. You will select one of seven preferences for the selected question (from faint to excessive). Select the bubble next to the preference that best fits you. If you really have no preference between the two questions, you can select the "no preference" option. The 68 question pairs will be presented in several pages so click the "Next" button when you are finished with a page and the next page will be presented. Don't spend too much time contemplating each question. Select the answer that seems to best describe your preference. Once your survey is scored, make note of each of the numbers associated with each of the eight letters of the behavioral profile (E, I; S, N; T, F and J, P. For example, E 26 I 30. The letter with the higher number is your stronger tendency. Then note the 4 digit type indicator indicated by the sentence: "You scored as an:" For example you may be an ESTJ. If there is an "X" present in your score, then you are directly in the middle between two indicators. Then, browse the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Site to find out more about your profile. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the link associated with your 4-letter personality type. Read the type indicator summary associated with your type. After taking the survey and reading the summaries concerning your type, post a message to this discussion that includes the following: Identify your behavioral profile indicator (example ENTJ) and the number associated with each letter. Write no more than a three (3) paragraph statement on whether you agree with the behavioral profile (i.e. does this seem to fit your personality) and why. If there are areas that you don't agree with, highlight these, as well. Reply and discuss your findings with at least two other students. You will get a feel for the other personality types are you learn more, and will appreciate the differences that you see at work, as well as in other areas of your life. This is especially good information to have as you work in teams throughout your college and work lives.
