student for the BMG Early Childhood Mental Health training experience, the students will receive the following learning and exposure opportunities Students will receive an introductory training on early childhood development as well as receive training on the behavioral and emotional concerns that are often associated with this age group Students will receive an introductory training on early childhood assessment instruments that can be used to evaluate the developmental domains (cognitive, language, interpersonal, motor, behavior) of early childhood development Students will assist in providing Mental Health Observations Conduct classroom observations and consult with teachers to identify students who may display behavioral, social emotional or communication concerns Mental health observations will occur 4 times throughout the academic year Students will consult with center staff regarding the management of disruptive behaviors and or emotional responses of students Student Overview of Practicum Experience
