I have been put in situations where I had to use a credit card, and it was tough to lower it once I had a substantial debt. I see credit cards as a last-choice option and try to pretend they are not there unless it's an emergency. Credit cards are risky because we are a society of instant gratification, and these allow people to purchase items, but they cost them much more in the long run
