DESCRIPTION & INSTRUCTIONS:

      As construction field engineers, you may be asked to source materials or equipment that is eco-friendly and meet the requirements of LEED or Green Globes.  This assignment provides practice on discovering such items. Mentioned below are some instructions for the submission of this assignment: 

1. Each material carries 5 points - Totaling 50 points.
2. 10 materials - 10 submittals - 1 PDF
3. Submit a professionally formatted PDF document including your name on top right section of the page and page numbers on the bottom.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: 

Submit submittals for each of the given materials. The submittal must include: 

1. Manufacture details:
   1. Name
   2. Address
2. Product technical name
3. What makes the product eco-friendly?
4. Which standard does it comply with?
5. Product data / Product Cut sheet

 

Locate and provide a submittal for each of the following materials:
 

 

1. Carpet Glue
2. Carpeting (Tiles or Rolled)
3. Glass
4. Roofing
5. Urinals
6. Light fixtures
7. Ceiling Tiles
8. Paint used on roads (Traffic Paint)
9. Wiring
10. Lavatory Faucets
