Concentrate on the leading portion of the four functional areas of management. As part of the leading process, managers must manage any differences or changes that may occur within organization. Managers handle a variety of conflicts, work problems, or communication difficulties, as well as motivate employees. An important aspect of a sport manager's job as an effective leader responding to conflicts that arise from organizational change. Change is hard, however effective managers discover and utilize novel approaches to achieve the desired outcome. Identify an organization that has experienced issues within the last several years related to societal change, changes within the organization, or with inter-office conflict. It can be any of these instances, it does not need to cover all.

For Part 1:

1. Identify the organization you chose, summarizing the facts that led to the organization experiencing issues related to societal change, changes within the organization, or with inter-office conflict. 2. Identify the culprit, in your opinion, that led to the issue. For example, did the issue arise because of communication issues, changes in the workplace involving diversity, or issues related to technology (e.g. social media), or something else? 3. How did the organization's leadership respond to the conflict, and was that approach successful in solving the problems? Did the approach succeed? Why or why not?1.
