$-1**8$ but, this simple calculator does not implement unary minus. However, $-1$

may be generated by computing $0-1.$

Assume that Soar has the knowledge of arithmetic to figure this out, but that it

does not know it should apply this trick in this circumstance. What would Soar

do to figure this trick out?
