Your supervisee is earning hours and experiences at three different locations and, as a result, has multiple supervisors. They ask you during a supervision meeting to review a case that is overseen by a BCBA at one of their other locations. What do you do? 5. Your supervisee tells you that the father of a client has been making inappropriate comments to her when she is working with the client in the home. For example, he has said, "You should wear shorts more often." He has touched her back, arm, and thigh and it makes her feel uncomfortable. She doesn't know how to handle the situation. How do you advise the supervisee? 6. You provide group supervision to 3 supervisees providing services to clients at the same autism-services clinic. One of the supervisees tells you she has been having challenges with another supervisee in the group and that she doesn't feel comfortable doing group supervision anymore. What are some things to consider before making a decision? 7. A supervisee calls you and frantically tells you that she just gave the mom of a current client $5 to put gas in her car because she didn't know what else to do. It is important to note that this mom receives methadone, to help her with current drug addiction recovery, every morning after dropping her son with autism off at a clinic for therapy. She is often late, reporting she has run out of gas and has had to beg for money at the gas station. She told your supervisee today that she was almost out of gas and didn't think she'd make it home to her rural area, so was going to leave the clinic and bring her son with autism with her while she begged for gas money. She has communicated honestly and consistently about all her concerns, has informed staff each time she will be late, and seems to be a dedicated and committed parent working to ensure her child receives all the services his funding source will allow. Your supervisee informs you that she has a client who is moving, and therefore terminating services with their company soon.
