Expedia has a variety of innovative digital media marketing platforms that help them create media strategies to market all their products and services that vary according to your specified target audience. Some of the marketing solutions provided by Expedia include display advertising, co-op campaigns, sponsored listings, creative partnership, audience extension, social media, email marketing and finally travel spotlight (ref). The travel audience to Latin America being the least calls for higher levels of marketing solutions and therefore will need more resources spent here. The target group of consumers for this newly developed package is the same as the pre-existing target market of Expedia, Moreover this package also provides an opportunity to further expand the target audience allowing the younger generation to grow interest in the area too. The people taking part in adventure tourism activities are labelled as the sensation seekers (Dudley 2016) which leads to the marketers to only focus on those and often ignore the other part of the demograph.

All the above-mentioned digital media marketing solutions have their own importance and influence on the target market considering Expedia's wide rage of target audience. Display advertising targets audiences based on their travel intent data and providing them with customised advertisements that interest the consumer. Co-Op campaigns maximises brand's exposure within the budget and marketing objective by being placed on an exclusive landing page with higher traffic. Sponsored listing helps maximise bookings and revenue by targeting capabilities that allows to target an audience. Travel spotlight helps shoppers to engage and explore the brand leading them to engross in the services and products provided(ref). Regardless, marketing strategy for this adventurous travel package would be firstly, social media that includes facebook, twitter, Instagram, and viewfinder along with email as more than 85% of the travellers use these while planning a trip. Social media allows the brand to grow business and build relationships by allowing consumers self-select their own activities and experience(ref). Secondly, radio and television which expose everyone conveniently including the target audience to the advertisement building brand awareness while promoting the product and services. Lastly, video streaming platforms like youtube help do the same. Although all the digital media platforms are important and play a major role in promoting the product, it can not undermine the fact that some of them seem to prove more beneficial than the rest.

The advertisement in digital marketing should range from 2 to 3 times a week for all the other marketing solutions except social media, radio and television which should range from 5 to 6 times a day minimum to spread awareness of the brand and the product and services provided.
