In order for a business to be successful, it needs to have a comprehensive salary structure in place. For those setting up a new business or looking to make human resource management more organised within their current business, designing a salary structure is one of the first steps that should be taken.

The purpose of this assignment is to enhance learners' ability to explain what 'salary structure design' is all about and evaluate how it is used to retain employees.

REQUIREMENT

Select your organisation or an organisation that you are familiar with. Explain how salary structure designs are used to retain employees. Evaluate the salary structure design process in that organisation. Then, suggest ways to innovate the current types of salary structure designs used for the selected organisation.
