Crane with two beams: Hang a fictitious weight from the long beam. Draw consistent FBDs of 

(i) the short beam together with the bottom pin inserted, and the upper pin removed, as a 2-force body (why is this ok?), 

(ii) the long beam with both pins inserted, 

(iii), the entire crane assembled but separated from the anchors, and 

(iv) the anchors with pins removed.
