Your client is an event planning business that provides services for private events in Perth. The business wants you to design an efficient database which addresses their business needs.

After a discussion with the business manager, you have accumulated the following information (business rules):

An event is identified by an Event No., and has a Name, Location, Time, and a Contact Number.

An event can only have one planning package; however, a package can be provided to more than one event. A package is identified by a Package ID, and has a Name, Type and Special Comments. A package contains more than one service, each service is identified by a Service ID, Name, Description and Price. A service is available in one package at a time.

The business wants to record information about staff including their Staff No, Name, Address and Phone Number. Staff can be fixed term or seasonal staff. For fixed-term staff, the business wants to record information about their Salary, Role and Date Employed. For seasonal staff, the business wants to record information about their Hourly Pay Rate and Status. The business wants to record information about staff supervision. A staff can supervise one or more other staff. However, a staff can have only one supervisor.

Staff can be assigned to work on one or more event. Some staff might not be assigned to work on any event. An event can be assigned one or more staff. When staff are working on an event, the business wants to record information about the work schedule which includes Start and Finish time, and their Role at the event.
