1. (S pts) Consider the customer service systems below. Build the model in Simio and create an experiment with 20 runs. Server 1 Server 2 8 .75 ,-100 [ent/hr]-,-101 Exit 1 .25 .2 Server 3 5 ,-22 Exit 2 . Note: Make sure to reset your simulation and reset your experiment whenever making a change to the simulation model (e.g. paramete rs, run times) One way to check if a system has reached steady-state is to observe how many entities are left in the system. For the questions below reference the pivot table for the experiment. (a) Set the simulation run-time to 1 hr and run the experiement with 20 runs. How many entities were created? How many entities were destroyed? What is the dif- ference (created-destroyed)? This dilference corresponds to how remaining in the system at the end of the simulation. (b) Set the simulation run-time to 2 hrs and run the experiement with 20 runs. How many entities were created on average? How many entities were destroyed on aver- age? What is the difference? (c) Repeat this process for run-times of 5 hrs, 10 hrs, 50 hrs, 100 hrs, 200 hrs, 500 hrs, 1000 hrs all with 20 runs. Make a table using the results above similar to the one below. Run-time Avg Eutities AvE. Entities Avg. Eatities Destrowei Remaining Created 10 100 200 1000
