Describe a total six (6)** "walk-a-ways" about Lean and Six Sigma from the paper airplane exercises. Many times, students coming being, a bit muddy on some concepts (as indicated in your e-mail to me 11.17). However, after participation in the various processes 1.0-3.0, the practices removing waste and improving systems are much clearer. Please provide your insights as a participant in: the (1) work center (11.15); (2) production line (11.17) and (3) Kanban (11.17). Dr. Wilson provided enough reference material as well as your team's data to complete this extra credit assignment. Each insight is worth 5 points = 30XC points. It is mandatory that you complete two (2) insights on each of the three (3) processes. If you did not participate both days, you will be unable to provide a satisfactory responses. As a result on not being in class or your lack of participation, even if you were present, do not attempt. You will need to answer all six. Your response need to be comprehensive enough to indicate that you understand how lean and six sigma changed between the 1.0,2.0 and 3.0. This does not mean, "it went up, down or better quality "(team statistics are critical to receive full credit.
